Description

Amazing, stunning set of solid brass andirons by Sheffield New York, with cast iron short shank log dog. Beautiful style, very well made with ball and claw feet. Has a wonderful natural brass shine and finish. They are vintage and perhaps antiques, so please expect minor surface scratches and other minor signs of use, I don't see any heat damage to the andirons. The cast iron log dogs were cut off by the previous owner - allowing the andirons to be used with gas fireplace or with a variety of self standing log holders. You could also replace the log dogs with a longer model.

Each andiron is 22" tall, 11 1/4" wide at the feet and 7" deep (including log dog) and each andirons weights about 10 lbs 3 ozs.
