    Description

    Elegant pair of solid brass fireplace andirons. Chippendale Federal style.  The andirons are solid brass, of high quality,
    similar
    to what you see on Virginia Metalcrafters or Harvin metalworks.  I believe these are made by Va Metalcrafters or Harvin, or perhaps another high quality metal crafter, however, I cannot find a manufacture mark on the andirons.
    This is a pre-owned item, although in overall great condition, minor surface scratches are present.  The finish has a nice shine and you will see the photographer reflected in the brass. The log shanks are included and are made of cast iron.
    Approximate measurements - each andiron is 20" tall, 11 1/2" wide, 21" deep (18" log shank), 4" clearance
    under the log shank.  Each log shank weights about 11 lbs 11.6 ounces.
    The log shanks will be separated from the andirons for shipment to minimize the possibility of damage.
