Vintage IDEAL Cat. No. 31-082 Fish Tape Leader NOB~1959-60 Vintage. Shipped with USPS First Class Package. This hard to find Fish Tape Leader by Ideal had been sitting unopened in my late father's tool chest for a good 60 years, until I've opened it to examine and photo. The piece 31-082 tape leader consists of flat fish tape ball Cat. No. 31-083 and round fish tape ball Cat. No. 31-084 and it's Spring, my photos of it's instructions hopefully explain it well! The piece measures 19-3/4" Long, and the ends Mic with my Starrett Calipers in at .330" Diameter. I tried to get the best up close and focused photos of the creature as my Android could do, some are with flash and some without. Seems like when I got focus on one thing, others blurred. The leader appears in great shape, except which I've tried to show well in my photos..an area at each end where a bit of chrome time worked on. Everything I'm quite certain is as functional as when it was made so many years ago.
