Vintage EV Electro Voice - Speaker 12" 60 W odd tweeter from CM 12 - 2 MONITOR

Really nice sound imo (I do have years and years of audio and performance experience) , and the speaker (which is the item for sale in this listing) comes from a well built but not excessively large wedge shaped cabinet. I am making this listing for the speaker only as the combined weight and size of the speaker in monitor could make the shipping pretty high, and the fees I have to pay Ebay on the shipping not worth the trouble.  If you want to pick up or make some arrangement for getting the total unit feel free to message me and we can see what is workable and reasonable. I sometimes venture around Albany NY or Utica / Oneida if that might be a good pickup point also....after payment....and there would be some reasonable charge for the effort & time...reasonable....imo.
I especially note the raised hard plastic ring chamber around the tweeter in the speaker center (dusty in photo but in fine shape) and wonder if that is an "acoustic feature" to enhance it's performance.....just a guess, haven't seen the literature.  I'll try to add a photo of the cabinet later today, but you can find some of them online if you wish to see beforehand. It is in nice looking and sturdy.  Typical wedge monitor shape measures16x16x13x6".  Speaker weighs 7lb 10 oz, cabinet 15lb.
