Here we have an outstanding Meriden Brittania Co. Federal style, sterling topped, urned shaped sugar bowl with beautifully executed artichoke finial. The footed crystal body with very fine wheel cut engraving of inverted swags, tassels and flowers. Excellent condition! No chips, cracks or repairs. The top silver top stamped with the company logo and "sterling." Measures 7-1/2" tall x 3-1/8"in diameter at the rim. C.1895
