Description

A Soviet era silver sugar basket or honey dish.
Round, conical-form bowl in a shape of beehive.
Gilded/gold washed interior. Removable swing handle.
Rim beautifully decorated with applied scrolls.
Stands on three figural feet.

Not monogrammed.
Bowl marked underside by the rim with:
"4 ТЮ" for the 4th. Tbilisi Jewelry Factory;
"г, five-pointed star, 875" into one punch for assay office
city of Tbilisi and .875/1000 silver purity.
Handle marked underside with:
"875" into square punch.
Made in Tbilisi, Georgia, USSR, ca.1974
