South American 900 silver sugar bowl with llama finial.
Up for sale is this beautiful vintage 900 silver hand crafted sugar bowl.
Maker's mark, perhaps EP in a llama head, lobed circular with loop handles on scroll feet, stamped with geometric and leaf designs below the rim and to the lip of the conforming domed lid, with llama finial.
    DATE: c. Mid-20th century.
NOTES: I am afraid that I can find no further information on this maker's mark. As you say this is most likely to be from Peru or Bolivia. It is nicely made and appears to have some age, probably dating around the middle of the last century. The condition generally looks good, though with some dents to the sides.
