This is an EXCELLENT RARE 16mm ORIGINAL print of “THE BLUE DAHLIA”, a 1946 Paramount release, written by RAYMOND CHANDLER, directed by GEORGE MARSHALL, starring ALAN LADD, VERONICA LAKE, and WILLIAM BENDIX. This atmospheric FILM NOIR set in post war Los Angeles is one of the best of its genre, with sizzling chemistry between ALAN LADD and VERONICA LAKE. The great supporting cast includes memorable work from HOWARD DA SILVA and DORIS DOWLING, and RAYMOND CHANDLER was Oscar nominated for Best Original Screenplay.
