    16MM Feature PUTNEY SWOPE 1969 cult classic by the late ROBERT DOWNEY SR. Amazing and rare surreal comedy on three reels has both black and white and color sequences. I have taken pics from throughout the film. Based on clarity and contrast this appears to be an original print! It’s about a black ad executive that is voted to run an ad agency. His revolutionary ideas produce outrageous commercials, all in color. This print runs great! There are only a few splices per reel, not a single one that effects the flow. Occasional lines come and go. The color commercials have some color left as you can see from pictures. Note that the beginning of the third reel has a roughly 8-minute section where the black and white parts and a trio of color commercials are printed on color stock. That means this whole eight minutes is reddish. Note pic of people sitting in chairs, which should be in crisp black and white like the rest of this film. No VS!
