    Description

Nat Peeples - Autographed Ball - Kansas City Monarchs - Negro Leagues - 1949-50
    .
    Balls may have some toning.
Selling my personal collection of autographs, sports memorabilia, and sports cards.
    A
ll autographs and memorabilia in this collection were obtained in person, either by myself, or my wife at the time, and come with COA's if they were available
    at the signing
    .
The COA will be pictured with the item if it has one.
Please keep in mind, that many of these items were obtained in the
    mid
80's, 30 plus years ago, before COA's were even issue
    d by shows
    . Back then, if
    sports card
shows provided you with a COA, you would only get one, even
    if
you bought the autographs in bulk. Gibraltar Trade Shows in Mount Clemens MI comes to mind in their early days.
Feel free to check my feedback, I have already sold more than 400 pieces of this collection last year on Ebay, if there was an issue with authenticity on any of my autographs, surely someone would have posted the results by now.
I know a rather large number of people who have purchased from this collection, have had th
    eir autographs
    certified after purchase
    , all without issue
    .
    Plus, I personally
    guarantee
that every autographed item will pass any grading service
    scrutiny
    .
I will gladly accept returns if you don't feel comfortable with your purchase, provided the seal on the item hasn't been broken and it's within the return time frame. I can't get more fair than that.
We had five sports card shops in malls in Michigan during the mid 80's to the mid 90's. That's why we bought so many autographs, we use to make plaques out of them and sell them in our stores. I remember when Chris Osgood was popular, I would buy his autographs 50 at a time, and Sergei Fedorov, 100 at a time.
Our stores were called Taylor Made Sports, and yes, Taylor Made Golf did threaten to sue us to get us to change our name back then. I just sent them a picture of one of our stores, and we never heard back from them. Our stores were those kiosks you see located in the middle of malls.
We also promoted many sports card shows in and around the Grand Rapids area, back then as well.
Here is a list of the malls we were located in, if you're interested.
    Woodland Mall Grand Rapids MI
    Briarwood Mall Ann Arbor MI
    Lakeside Mall Sterling Heights MI
Summit Place Mall Waterford Twp MI
Grand Traverse Mall Traverse City MI  By the way, Gordie Howe would come into the mall on occasion and autograph a few pucks for us.
Almost 20 years of hard work and dedication went into this collection, tracking down items from card shows, auctions, and sports venues. Little bit of something for everybody, with many one of a kind items.
This collection has been kept in cool, dry, storage since 1992, with a few additions since then.
I will add my take on some grading services, I brought a few of my high end bats to get certified when I first started selling this collection, needless to say, I was very
    disappointed
    when I arrived,
    they
wanted to charge me .00 to certify a bat, and it was just two kids from the grading service road show, at a local card shop, about 18 to 20 years old dressed in jeans and tee shirts, simply looking up signatures online from a database.
Be sure to check our other auctions for more cool stuff, I'm listing the items as fast as I can.
