    If you have an older motor / engine its always a good idea to
    change
    the crank seals as part of preventitive maintance. Air leaks develop over time through the seals and can cause a lean condition or serious motor damage.  Leaking crank seals can also create many symptoms of bogging and power loss making you think there is something wrong with the carbs or ignition.  In many cases it is the crank seals leaking.  If your not sure of your motors history, we always recommend installing a fresh set of seals.
