1966 Auto Sprint 1600 M-MR
This is an all original very rare pedal car that was made in Italy. These were not imported to the U.S. They were based on the open wheel Maserati and Ferrari racing cars of the 1950 and 1960's. This was the top of line pedal car with the most features. The lower models were the 950, 1100 and 1300 respectively. This was the only model to feature solid white rubber tires vs the standard black tires. The features it posses are an opening hood with plastic engine detail, rear-view mirrors, dual-tone horn, shifter engine sounds and operating head lights.
All the electronic items are assumed not currently functioning due to not being tested and rust. The car is missing the plexiglass windshield, one of the rear view mirrors and the metal trim piece from the opening hood. The plastic engine detail is loose. The hood opens via the spring loaded hood ornament latch. One of the head light lenses is cracked and broken. It does have a lot of wear with a few dings and surface rust. The steering and pedal feature work well.
This sale is for local pick-up only. I will not personally ship it. It will most likely need to be crated for safe transport or you can hire a mover. I will be able to hold it for pick-up after payment or you can arrange your own transport. I can also drop it off at a local shipper if you wish.
