    Pedal Car
For the serious Ferrari collector the Giordani cars of the 1950's and 60's were some of the most iconic metal replicas of the famous racing cars.
The Giordani Elettrica series took the pedal cars a step further and added battery powered operation rather than pedal power.  These were very deluxe optioned out Ferrari's for the time.
It's very rare to find this early era Giordani in the US, but somehow this one made it all the way to the Southeast of the States.  This wouldn't be the typical order from Sears or Wards, though companies like FAO Shwarz would likely have offered them.  How this beauty got here I do not know.
This particular example is a #2 tampo car and has the outward tell-tale signs of the Elettrica version, which is the metal guards located around the perimeter of the body.  There are a few minor dings but no real rust in the car.  It is missing the following pieces (windscreen, mirrors, velocity stacks, headlight lenses, 1 knockoff-spinner)  The pictures really show the condition, especially the paint, which is still vibrant and full of life.
The typical Giordani Ferrari pedal car sells in Europe for 00-1700euro in this condition with prices >00euro for fully restored premium condition examples.
If you're a collector of Ferrari's, or of 50's & 60's open wheel race cars this Giordani Elettrica Ferrari is a great example to add to your collection.  They are scarce and desireable to any serious collector.
I'm starting the auction off at a high price due to the rarity.
I will not personally ship this item, so am offering it on a 'pick-up' basis.  But if a winning bidder wants to arrange for packaging and shipment I can drop it off at a local shipping service.
    Good Luck and God Bless!
