    This stunning original currency note was issued on January 15, 1921 by a tiny village in the Austrian Alps. It celebrates the original Santa Claus - St. Nick! - long before he became the commercialized Santa Claus of today.
    St. Nick is seen trudging through the snow in his red and white vestments carrying a sack of toys. He is accompanied by a little girl in a blue dress wearing gold angel wings! Larger all-white angels float among the snow-laden evergreen trees in the background. This scene is flanked by Gold Lettering!
    The ornate reverse shows a little angel in a Santa Claus outfit carrying a little Christmas tree festooned with candles, as well as 2 evergreen bows with candles and Christmas tree decorations.
