    Description

    This is a Lovely Pair of Antique R. Wallace & Sons Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs, patented in 1917.
    The tongs are in excellent condition.  They have an oval Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau oval design as seen.
    The tongs are 3 1/4" long.  You can see the size in relation to a US dime.  They weigh 12.65 grams.
    I am not very knowledgeable about silver marks, a mark I found for R. Wallace & Sons, Wallingford, Connecticut via internet search.
    In addition to the makers hallmark, the tongs are marked "STERLING PAT. 1917" (the impression of the 1917 can be seen but is lightly impressed and a bit hard to see).
