    1993 Fan Fest Signed Baseball by Buck O'Neil and Other Players
    1993 Fan Fest signed AL Baseball, featuring Negro League stars Buck O’Neil and Andy Porter
    Thirteen (13) signatures in all on a Rawlings official American League Bobby Brown baseball, including Buck O’Neill, Andy Porter and Al Oliver. At least one of the four unidentified signatures (the one above Buck O’Neil) could be be another Negro League player. Nine signatures are identified below:
    Buck O’Neil – 1938 to 1955 as first baseman with the Negro League Kansas City Monarchs. Managed the Monarchs for eight seasons from 1948 through 1955. Became a scout for the Chicago Cubs in 1955 and was named as a coach in 1962, the first African-American coach in Major League baseball. O'Neil gained national prominence with his compelling descriptions of the Negro Leagues as part of Ken Burn’s exceptional 1994 documentary on baseball. In 1990, O'Neil led the effort to establish the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) in Kansas City. On October 24, 2007, O'Neil was posthumously given a Lifetime Achievement Award named after him by the Baseball Hall of Fame.
    Andy Porter was an outstanding pitcher in the Negro Leagues for the Louisville Black Caps, Cleveland Cubs, Nashville Elite Giants, Columbus Elite Giants, Washington Elite Giants, Baltimore Elite Giants, Newark Eagles, KC Royals, Satche Paige All Stars and Jackie Robinson All Stars from 1932 to 1950. He was a member of the Negro League East-West All Star team in 1937 and 1949. He also played baseball in Mexico, Cuba and Venezuela in the winter leagues.
    Al Oliver - Outfielder/first baseman with Pirates/Rangers/Expos/Giants/Blue Jays ... 1968 to 1985. NL Batting Champ 1982 with .331 BA. 7-time All Star and 3 Silver Slugger awards. Member of the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Championship Team.
    John Miller – Pitcher Baltimore Orioles 1962-1967. Career ERA 3.89. Member of 1966 Baltimore Orioles World Series Champions.
