Description
1981 Kawasaki Gpz1100 styled to look like an Eddie Lawson Replica. I've owned this bike for 20 years. It sat in the garage for a number of years, so in September 2019 I took it to the shop to have it gone through. Here are some of the things that were done.--Rebuilt flatslide carbs
--Cleaned and sealed gas tank
--New Bridgestone tires
--Rebuilt brake calipers
--Rebuilt master cylinders
--New progressive shocks in the rear
--New battery
--New chain
--New cam chain tensioner
--New spark plugs
--Fresh oil and oil filter
--Checked compression
--Adjusted valve clearance
Prior to my owning the bike, the prior owner gave me a list of work done:
--Balanced Falicon crank
--Kerker header
--K&N bars
--Dyna ignition
--Kevlar clutch
--Dyna coils
--Programmable rev limiter
--New gauges
I believe the new gauges were put on during the prior owner's work, so the 8582 miles on the odometer would reflect the miles after his work. The tach did just quit working.
I will provide the work order from the mechanic and the list of the above items I received from the prior owner to the winning bidder.
It had a really nice corbin seat that blew off when I was trailering it, so I found an oem seat that is in decent shape. The seat has a hole and some wear, but overall pretty decent. I do not have any of the attachments that go under the seat to keep it firmly in place, so the seat just sits on the frame at this point.
The bike runs really strong and pulls hard from the bottom. I have an 84 GPz1100 and it pulls harder than the 84. The paint is in really good shape. There ARE a couple very light haze spots on the tank that I tried to get a close up of, but you really can't see them unless you are close and looking hard. Pull out the choke all the way and she fires right up. She is a little cold blooded, but doesn't take long to get warmed up.
I have a clean title and it is in my name. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I work from home, so available most of the time.
I will accept a cashier's check or cash via paypal. If you pay via a credit card through paypal, you will have to add 3.25% to the final price to cover the interchange fee. The bike will be available to be picked up after payment has cleared.
I don't ride much anymore, and this bike is too cool to be hiding in the garage!!!
Bike will be for sale locally, so auction may end at any time.

Headlight, including bright, blinkers and taillight/stoplight all work, as well as the horn. Note the bike does not have rear blinkers.
