The Bike

I have a Clear Title for the bike but my deceased friends wife signed it in the wrong place and the State of Alabama will not title anything over 35 years old!
A friend of mine past away and this is his bike that had been sitting for six years in his garage.
The bike wasn't firing and that was probably the reason it had been sitting up.
I purchased a
Dynatek Ignition
for it.
I fixed the back brakes the caliber was frozen , I got it freed up and cleaned it and its working again.
I installed a
Front Master Cylinder.
I got the front wheel cylinder unstuck and cleaned it and its working fine.
I cleaned out the gas tank with 5 gallons of metal recue then sealed it with a product called dry coat.
New parts installed
Gas Lines and Filters,
Front Master cylinder
Speedometer Cable,
Petcock,
Chrome Speedometer Covers,
Dyna Ignition Cover Gasket
Spark Plugs
I removed the carbs and cleaned them out,
they didn't have any gas left in them so they cleaned up real nice.
I've also Polished the Engine and applied a coat of
Eastwood
ExoArmour
to the engine which will keep it shinning for over a year or more !
My friend ask me a year ago before he passed away to help in getting his bike up and running,at that time he told me
that
he had the top end rebuilt
a few years before he had parked it, never the less this bike runs great
the timing may need to be set.
I've never seen a Kawasaki KZ900 with all the work that had been done to it as this one has.
After market chrome rims, it has a 3 inch stretched rear end with a very large tire.
The bike has graphic art work applied to the entire bike,
the gas tank, side covers and rear tail piece and it has a glitter finish that shows up in the sunshine.
This Bike is in very good condition it runs great, rides great, the tires are still in good condition.
The
throttle
cable works but its about 3 inches to long. I had bought a new cable but it was to short because of the not original handlebars.

Please keep in mind this is not a new motorcycle.
These bikes are very hard to find especially in this condition after all it is a 45 year old Muscle Bike.
This bike is very fast so I would not
recommend it for a beginner.
