INTRODUCTION:::
You are bidding on a 1975 Kawasaki z1. This motorcycle was professionally restored to original factory condition. We made sure this bike is showroom quality; every part was either replaced with new parts, or the parts were reconditioned to original factory condition. All factory codes, and year specific parts match exactly. We made sure that all parts are 100% period correct to 1975 Kawasaki z1 specifications, right down to every nut and bolt. BODY:::
All of the body panels were repainted to original factory color code on new body work and they look perfect. All nuts, bolts, and washers were re-zinced, re-chromed or replaced to look 100% new and original. The original wheels were reconditioned and re-spoked with the proper gold nipples. Every metal part including the frame was painted or powder coated to original factory black color. Every wire and electrical component was inspected and replaced if needed; all wire connectors were re-crimped with original Japanese connectors if necessary, so all of the electrical connections are brand new; even inside the headlight bucket looks brand new. The engine casings and cylinder heads were treated with our unique media to give them that brand new original factory aluminum cast look again, and the engine side covers were polished to original quality. New period correct thread pattern front & rear tires were also installed.
MECHANICAL:::
The bike runs and rides like new. The engine was completely rebuilt, engine cases were split, crankshaft was serviced, transmission gears were service, new piston rings, all new gaskets, all new engine seals, new timing chain, new timing chain rollers, and much much more. Basically all
i
nternal motor parts were either replaced or adjusted to original factory running condition. The carburetor were media blasted, and cleaned by an ultrasonic cleaner, all O-rings, jets, and gaskets were replaced on the carburetor. The complete engine was striped to bare metal and treated with unique blast media. We did a full service tune, adjusted the valves, adjusted timing, new coils, plugs, air filter, oil filter, cleaned and synchronized carburetor, new brakes fluid, new brake pads, new tires, new drive chain, new front & rear sprockets, rebuilt caliper, rebuilt front forks with new fluid and seals; basically, all of the mechanical maintenance was freshly done so the motorcycle is ready to ride anywhere, reliably and feels like new.
FACTORY DATE CODES & UNIQUE PARTS:::
This restoration has all matching date codes and unique parts for the 1975 z1 production. We made sure this bike is period correct as much as possible, just as if it came from the dealers show room floor in 1974.
Here are the codes to confirm production dates: Engine code #z1e-054738, rear and front rim code #5A, rear brake torsion bar #48, control switch numbers #505, swing arm code #507, Gauges have the proper ND print location, along with the proper font for this frame number, and warning brake light, The carburetor code is 217 / 0 and has the side float bowl drain plugs.
Stanley stamped original headlight with original large bulb, oem stanley headlight bucket. Stanley oem turn signals. Proper larger Kawasaki tank emblem. All original electric stamps and warning decals. There are a few more parts that are unique to the 1975 so please feel free to ask if I have missed any of them and I can confirm what’s on the bike.
