Up for auction is my 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 Motorcycle. I purchased it in 1973 as the first 73s came to showroom floors in America. This Z1 was built 6/73. I have had the pleasure of owning and enjoying it ever since. Great memories. 48 years we have been together. I have decided to give someone else the opportunity to enjoy it as I have. It has been taken very good care of. Look at the pictures and see what you think. You would be hard-pressed to find one like it in any better condition unless it had been totally restored. I kept it original for a long time and then we decided to travel and enjoy some national parks. So, for comfort we added the King and Queen seat and the windshield. I also replaced the original chain for a stronger one that is self lubricating. I still have the original seat which will go with the bike (in pretty good shape). The owner's manual and tool kit are also included. I haven't rode the bike for a few years and it has been garage kept. It cranks with good compression, needs a battery. new tires. and probably needs the carbs cleaned out, and maybe some other things. The gas tank will need to be cleaned and resealed. The outside of the gas tank looks new as does the left side cover. The right side cover and back fin have some paint fade and could easily be repainted Terms of Sale: A nonrefundable deposit of 0 is due within 24 hours of auction end.
