"Where to Now" was only one of the shortened re-edited versions cut for a shortened time TV period.
Saps at Sea was edited down to make two short subjects under the titles "Horn Hero" and "Where to Now?"
Director:
Gordon Douglas
Stars:
Stan Laurel Oliver Hardy James Finlayson
Condition:
Good. This print is black and white and does not have any smell or VS. The film itself looks good and comes on a decent metal reel. Estimated 4 splices. This could possibly be an original. The film stock is Kodak from 1941. Scans look good. See scans for images which are not color or black and white corrected.
Specific reel conditions:
R1 - Estimated feet 750; Estimated minutes 19; estimated splices 1 in film body, 3 in title area (TV;) original head; white leader at head; no
VS; no original tail; black leader at tail; includes end title (scan;) on decent 800' metal reel; color black and white; sound.
Note1: Scans taken from this print.
Note2: TV print created for WRO-TV
Note3: film looks good, no curl.
Note4: Dupes - Have had some comments about some of these prints being dark and possibly a dupe. Film stock is Kodak triangle triangle - 1941.
Note5:
Estimated splices - The number
of splices could be
considerably higher than estimated.
I do my best to estimate splices by looking at the reels.
I do not run these reels for fear
of scratching them.
